Hosted MCP access
Uthana's hosted MCP at https://mcp.uthana.com/mcp is a technical preview
and is not recommended for production use. The local
stdio connector remains available with your
own Uthana API key.
For the preview, connect an OAuth-capable remote MCP client and link your existing Uthana account through the Uthana login and consent screen. Ordinary Uthana permissions, credits, and pricing apply. Do not share an API key or another user's connection. Read access and write access are granted separately.
Hosted file-based tools accept uploaded file handles rather than paths on your
computer. Use the authenticated file portal at https://mcp.uthana.com/files, or
your compatible client's attachment integration. Downloads and previews remain
private to the linked account. If a connection expires, reconnect to retrieve an
existing result instead of submitting the paid operation again.
A request ID identifies one operation and its arguments. Reuse it to inspect or recover that same operation. A timeout or disconnected host does not mean that generation failed; do not resubmit pending or unknown work automatically.
OAuth clients can discover the protected resource at
https://mcp.uthana.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp. The authorization
server publishes discovery metadata at
https://uthana.com/.well-known/oauth-authorization-server. Supported scopes
are mcp:read and mcp:write. Tokens for MCP cannot be used as API keys or sent
unchanged to the Uthana API.
A ChatGPT viewer and public plugin listing are outside this technical preview.
